Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data infrastructure to support business needs and drive data-driven decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop data solutions to support data generation, collection, and processing. - Create and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow across systems. - Implement ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to migrate and deploy data. - Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise. - Optimize data infrastructure and performance to support business needs. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Cognos TM1. - Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices. - Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques. - Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). - Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM Cognos TM1. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
