Role Overview:

The purpose of the role is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages, and experience working in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver robust solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate.

Preferred Skills:

Strong experience with Oracle Database (PL/SQL, SQL , scripting, procedure,

Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting a nd command-line utilities.

Knowledge of Oracle tools.

Should have strong knowledge in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Develop and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL , and related technologies.

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for performance.

Implement and manage scripts in UNIX/Linux for automation and system integration

Experience with software development frameworks

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skill

Understanding of banking compliance, security policies, transaction flows.

Effective communication and ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional /Agile /Scrum teams.

Exposure to Application Production support.(some basic knowledge of Autosys )

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux scripts , and application components.

Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.

Execute batch jobs, manage schedules, and automate processes using shell scripting.
