We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in informatics to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and using your analytical skills to derive insights that will support our AI/ML/SW projects and strategies. Your contributions will help us advance our expertise in Data, Software and AI technologies within the IT organization at KLA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new API integrations to support the increase in data volume and complexity.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models for business analytics tools, enhancing its data accessibility and encouraging data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key customers and business processes that depend on it.
• Perform data analysis required to tackle data related use cases and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Design and evaluates open source and vendor tools for data informatics.
• Works closely with business partners and engineering teams to develop strategies for scalable data platform architecture.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Knowledge of managing and orchestrating cloud and HPC environments.
