Oracle Exadata DBA

Primary Skills : Core Oracle DBA, RAC, Dataguard, Exadata & Scripting

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Pune, Banglaore & Chennai Only

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Shift : 4 PM to 2 AM (North American Shift)

• Minimum of 10 – 15 years Database Administration experience with Exadata administering and supporting multiple Oracle databases for performance critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platform.
• Out of the above experience, the candidate must have 5 - 6 years of Team Lead experience, should have proven leadership skills and man management experience of handling a team of DBAs in multiple platforms, handling customer expectations, and all stakeholders involved in the daily operations and projects.
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Should have experience in handling AGILE projects and should have ITIL knowledge, preferably be certified in it.
• Database Installation, Configuration, Upgradation, Migration, Monitoring, and Administration of production databases supporting mission-critical activities.
• A strong candidate to rapidly troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure, implement scalable solutions, all while managing multiple requirements.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and strong performance tuning skills is a must.
• OEM Expertise to Monitor and Manage DB’s
• Ability to gather requirements, assess and recommend solutions to ensure High Availability and stability. 
• Must have strong written and verbal skills. 
• Experience in Oracle Security products like Data Vault, Key Vault, and database firewall. Design and Maintain database security to meet regulatory standards. 
• Strong SQL Query tunning skills, RMAN backup Recovery
• Expert Managing RAC Databases, patching of Databases, Standby databases (Oracle Data Guard). Troubleshooting RAC or cluster ware environments.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 environment and participate in on-call rotation.
• Will to work in us business hours.
• Automating routine DBA process experience and knowledge of scripting is required.
