We at Verdantas, looking for a Data Architect to join our team in Pune. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions that meet business requirements. This role involves defining data architecture, integrating data sources, and ensuring optimal performance for analytics, reporting, and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture Design:

Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture, including data models, pipelines, and storage solutions.

Define standards for data integration, transformation, and governance.

Solution Development:

Design and implement data solutions using modern technologies (cloud, big data, ETL tools).

Ensure solutions are optimized for scalability, performance, and security.

Integration & Migration:

Lead data migration projects from legacy systems to modern platforms.

Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

Collaboration:

Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Provide technical guidance and best practices for data management.

Governance & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.

Implement data quality and metadata management processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or masters in computer science, Data Science, or related field.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

10 + years of experience in data architecture and solution design.

Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data services.

Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Fabric, BigQuery).

Familiarity with API integration, data security, and governance frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and AI-driven analytics.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Understanding of DevOps practices for data solutions.

Preferred Certifications:

Azure Solutions Architect Expert

AWS certified data engineer

Google Data Engineer
