Job Description:

A Data Architect serves as a technical leader responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing enterprise data ecosystems tailored for the data & analytics landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align data architecture with Eaton business, application, and infrastructure needs.
• Conduct data quality assessments, conceptual modeling, and information needs analysis.
• Design data storage and access mechanisms including ODS, data warehouses, data marts, and big data.
• Define governance frameworks and ensure compliance with Eatons data standards.
• Lead technical delivery, assign tasks, and resolve issues during implementation.
• Oversee integration patterns such as MDM, ETL/ELT, and API-based data flows.
• Monitor data ecosystem health, performance, and optimization

Primary Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.
• Expertise in information management, metadata, governance, and MDM.
• Knowledge of transactional systems, ODS, warehouses, data marts, and big data.
• Ability to guide teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery.
