Summary

• As a Data Architect, the candidate is expected to design and govern the enterprise data solution.
• Works with customers to propose architecture, curate data backlogs, and ensure alignment of Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure frameworks.

Daily Responsibilities / Deliverables

• Define and maintain data architecture and standards.
• Review new feature designs & schemas.
• Curate and refine technical backlog with customers.
• Approve pipeline design and integration patterns.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and enhance the data architecture roadmap to support innovation, scalability, and business growth.
• Mentor engineers, ensure performance tuning.
• Conduct architecture governance sessions.

Frameworks / Tools Expected

• Snowflake (multi-layered zones), Power BI, Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, ServiceNow

Copilot / AI Productivity Enablement

• Use GitHub Copilot to generate dbt templates, JSONs, SQL optimizations, and Power BI DAX placeholders.
• Use Copilot for documentation to summarize design notes.

Delivery Foundation (Versioning, Documentation, Workflow)

• Versioned architecture docs in Git.
• Maintains Confluence architecture library.
• Links design changes to ServiceNow tickets.
• Manages peer reviews in PRs.

Education

• B. Tech / MCA
• Cloud/Snowflake Cert
