Data Architect

Key Responsibilities

Design architectures for modern ecosystems (Data Lakes, Mesh, Fabric) which drives the long-term strategy on clinical data.

Embed pharma-specific standards (CDISC, FHIR, HL7, Allotrope, etc.) into designs.

Partner with industry consortiums to align with clients architecture with global standards.

Drive governance, lineage, and compliance via MDM and quality frameworks.

Influence leadership and stakeholders on data strategy and best practices.

Lead large-scale data transformation, ETL, and pipeline design.

Architect and maintain enterprise data models (relational, dimensional, big data).

Partner with solution architects, business SMEs, and engineering teams to design conceptual, logical, and physical models that align with pharma standards and governance.

A major focus will be building data products and pipelines that power critical decisions across Clinical domains.

Required Expertise

8+ years in large-scale data transformation and architecture.

5+ years in data modelling across relational, dimensional, and big data.

Strong knowledge of pharma data (Clinical, Regulatory, CMC).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Oracle, Redshift, PostgreSQL) and other Data Platforms - Snowflake, Databricks etc.

Strong grounding in Data Governance, MDM, and compliance frameworks.

Proven ability to design secure, scalable, interoperable data solutions.

Preferred Skills

AI/ML integration for predictive analytics.

Deep understanding of pharma data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Ability to bridge strategy and execution in complex organizations.
