Job Description
Data Architect (Informatica) Cloud Migration:
- Serve as an Informatica Architect with strong OnPrem and IICS expertise, combined with deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and performance tuning; provide architectural leadership, design standards, and best practices for Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS) in the migration project.
- 8-10 years of development experience in data engineering skills.
- Design and lead enterprise data architecture for migration from onpremises to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in Informatica tools for designing, managing and migrating ETL workflows.
- Analyze existing Informatica workflow (PowerCenter/IICS) extracts from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files), transform it, and load it into target systems
- Establish data governance, metadata management, and security standards during migration.
- Analyse existing job schedulers such as Workload Automation (WLA), Control-M to understand the scope of migration.
