About Business line/Function: ISPL CIB IT Architecture

Exp- 9+

Location- Mumbai

Position Purpose: The Data Architect joins the Head of Data Architecture team, which covers

the entire global scope of data and applications for the CIB entity.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Main objective: to design, formalize, and evolve the architecture (applications, flows,

repositories) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BCBS239, GDPR, etc.) and

the standards of CIB and the BNP Paribas Group

Main Activities:

They perform all or part of the following activities:

- Work closely with the Business Data Office, functional and technical architects, and the

security and business continuity teams to ensure proper data management within the

information system.

- Provide data management guidance for projects: identify data usage-related activities to be

carried out on the project (data knowledge, data privacy, data security, data architecture, etc.).

- Support IT projects in documenting their data through data dictionaries and models.

- Create data models and data dictionaries for critical business applications.

- Participate in building the enterprise data model.

- Work on data repositories to ensure their proper architecture, quality, and governance.

- May be required to work with data quality analysts on data quality issues.

- Implements IT Group and regulatory governance for the data scope within the CIB context.

- Conducts ongoing monitoring activities for the data scope in response to governance

requirements.

- Change management: develops and delivers training on data management topics.

Specific Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent/ Master's degree (BE, Bsc-IT, BSc-Computers, MSc-IT, MCA)

- 2 to 5 years of experience in data architecture, ideally in banking/finance

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

o Knowledge of CIB (Global Markets, Global Banking, Securities Services and Asset &
