Innovation lead Summary:As an AI / ML Engineer, you will engage in the development of applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence tools and cloud AI services. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing production-ready solutions, ensuring that they meet quality standards. You will work with various AI models, including generative AI, deep learning, and neural networks, while also exploring innovative applications such as chatbots and image processing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate these advanced technologies into existing systems and workflows, driving efficiency and enhancing user experiences. Roles & Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems. - Conduct thorough experimentation, iterative testing, and evaluation of ML models to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability. - Extract actionable insights from data through advanced analytics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategy. - Partner closely with Data Engineers and Software Engineers to integrate, deploy, and monitor ML solutions in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Mentor junior team members, conduct peer reviews, and contribute to best practices in data science methodologies and processes. - Supports AWS Cloud Engineering activities Professional & Technical Skills:- - Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling techniques, with 5+ years of hands-on experience. - Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. - Experience with ML development on cloud services (AWS). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong experience with SQL/NOSQL and familiarity with handling large datasets, data preprocessing, and feature engineering. - Excellent ability to clearly communicate complex data science concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Prior experience working with pharma industry data platforms, especially Veeva (CRM, Vault), IQVIA, or similar platforms. - Demonstrated expertise in deploying, managing, and monitoring advanced NLP and LLM models- Deep expertise in transformer architectures, prompt engineering, semantic search techniques, and generative AI applications. -Managed a team of 10–15 members with prior experience in delivering Gen AI and ML solutions. -Certification in AI would be an added advantage. Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Data Science. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
