Summary: As a Data Architect, you will define the data requirements and structure for the application. You will model and design the application data structure, storage, and integration. Your typical day will involve analyzing data needs, collaborating with teams, and designing efficient data models and storage solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: -Responsibilities: - Architect and design scalable data solutions on AWS to support various data product initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data architecture designs. - Develop and maintain data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. - Design and optimize data models, ETL pipelines, and data integration processes to support efficient data workflows and analytics. - Implement data management strategies for structured and unstructured data, including data partitioning, indexing, and optimization techniques. - Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data architecture capabilities and drive innovation. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts, and other team members to promote knowledge sharing and skill development. - Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture, cloud computing, and big data analytics. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations. - Optimize data performance and scalability. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture. - Mentor and guide junior professionals in data modeling techniques and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies and Cloud data Architecture. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data normalization. - Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER studio - Knowledge of SQL and database programming languages. - Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure. - In-depth knowledge of AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics, with hands-on experience in building scalable data architectures. - Familiarity with data governance principles, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security best practices for protecting sensitive data. - Proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and SQL query optimization, with experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical data solutions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies or Cloud data Architecture. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
