About this role:
The Data Analytics Lead will work closely with product leaders to analyze customer behavior and engagement patterns across our digital experiences and measure product and feature performance. This position will ensure consistency and quality in our data and reporting pipeline and help facilitate better decision making among product leaders by giving them insights from overall customer experience on Gartner.com, peer community and digital tool usage.
What you’ll do:
Analyze business and product performance, on metrics such as New Business growth and Client Retention on a monthly, yearly basis and generate actionable insights for Product Leaders.
Partner closely with product leaders throughout the product life cycle to identify product goals, benchmarks, happy paths and data collection opportunities and establish best practices and processes for ensuring data quality.
Identify leading indicators of success or failure and translate them into actionable recommendations
Proactively surface opportunities for growth aligning analytics with business objectives
Partner closely with other members of the Data & Analytics team to define data capture and tagging parameters and pipeline data for reporting.
Maintain knowledge of Gartner business and other data – market research and account/contract data – and bring insights together with digital engagement data to create a complete picture of the customer.
Partner closely with other team members to assess impact of client engagement across our Digital Engagement footprints (G.com / Tools / Peer Insights), on retention.
Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously improving analytics methodologies
Utilize SQL, to directly query and analyse data, to uncover client engagement patterns
What you’ll need:
Undergraduate degree in related field or with related coursework (business, marketing, global affairs, psychology, behavioural science, data and analytics, communications, etc.); Master’s degree preferred or related experience.
5-7 years of experience in digital analytics, SaaS product analytics
Experience in generating insights from data from multiple sources
Exceptional business acumen with a strong ability to connect data insights to business impact
Experience in A/B Testing, Causal inference is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and suggest opportunities for analysis and hypothesis refinement.
Proficiency in Excel
Good hands-on experience in power BI dashboards. Uploading, transforming, and visualizing the data in the power BI dashboard.
Proficiency in working with large amounts of data.
Working knowledge of SQL
A high degree of self-motivation
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - in a written, verbal and in-person context
