We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable analytics data models and transformation workflows. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, governed datasets for analytics and reporting while supporting exploratory and applied analytical use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design dimensional models, curated data marts, and semantic datasets for analytics consumption
• Build and maintain transformation workflows using dbt
• Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouses
• Ensure data reliability through testing, validation, and monitoring
• Maintain documentation, lineage, and version control for analytics assets
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models
• Perform exploratory data analysis and develop analytical datasets/features to support downstream modeling initiatives

Required Skills

• Strong SQL proficiency (joins, window functions, optimization, complex transformations)
• Hands-on experience with dbt
• Experience working with Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing principles
• Experience with Git/version control and data testing practices
• Understanding of ELT workflows and modern data stack concepts

Preferred / Good to Have

• Python for analysis (pandas, scikit-learn)
• Statistical fundamentals / exploratory analytics experience
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau / PowerBI / Looker)
• Experience working with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)

Education

Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
