Role Overview
As a Media Data Analyst you will be responsible to partner with the Product and Tech
teams for designing and implementing scalable data solutions that enable actionable
insights and support Roundel Media Teams and business strategies. This role requires
strong technical expertise in data engineering, analytics, and visualization, combined with
the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
This will include deep study of the business requirements, frequency and readiness of
user base for these outputs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Data Management
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines aligned with analytics and
reporting needs.
Collaborate with Roundel MAG teams to understand data requirements and ensure
solutions support business objectives.
Analyze data trends and gaps to identify opportunities for improved data quality
and operational efficiency.
Track data initiatives, monitor delivery timelines, and proactively troubleshoot
pipeline or integration challenges.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as the primary technical resource for Roundel-related data needs, translating
business objectives into effective data solutions.
Provide consultation on best practices for creating visualization-ready datasets.

Guide internal teams on leveraging BI platforms (Power BI, Domo, Looker) to
maximize insight generation.
3. Cross-Functional Product Partnership
Partner with Engineering, Data Science and Product Data Foundation teams to
enhance data availability and ensure solutions meet evolving business demands.
Contribute feedback to inform new data features, connectors, and automation
opportunities.
Escalate and follow up on system or product issues affecting data accuracy or
availability.
4. Reporting & Insights
Support campaign health dashboards and KPI tracking at team and category levels.
Monitor campaign performance to prevent impression stuffing and ensure timely
corrective actions.
Deliver recurring performance reports summarizing key outcomes, insights, and
strategic recommendations.
Assist in preparing presentations and insights for partner meetings.
5. Issue Resolution
Submit and track product bug tickets; proactively report and escalate issues via
Slack and other Organisation channels.
Communicate and escalate operational challenges transparently to ensure timely
resolution.
Maintain documentation for debugging workflows, data dictionaries, and pipeline
structures.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or
related field.
Proven experience in data engineering, analytics, and BI tools (Power BI, Domo,
Looker).
Strong understanding of data pipeline design, ETL processes, and data governance
principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Efficient in multi-tasking and ability to manage time critical assignments.
