Data Analyst

The customer needs an insight-driven Data Analyst (not a Data Engineer) who can analyze business data and explain drivers behind trends such as customer churn, revenue changes, and performance variations.

The role focuses on statistical analysis, hypothesis validation, and translating data into actionable business insights using dashboards and storytelling.

Suitable resource profile

• Senior Data Analyst with strong analytical and business interpretation skills
• Typical experience range: 59 years (hands-on analysis + stakeholder interaction)
• Background in customer, product, marketing, or business analytics environments preferred

Mandatory skills to look for in profiles

• Strong SQL for data extraction, joins, aggregations, cohort/trend analysis
• Python for data analysis (Pandas, basic statistics)
• Power BI for dashboarding and visualization
• Descriptive statistics & hypothesis testing (correlation, significance checks)
• Proven experience generating business insights (e.g., churn analysis, revenue trends, segmentation, root-cause analysis)
