Were seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, youll support our analytics department by extracting insights from complex data sets, assisting in the development of performance metrics, and contributing to strategic recommendations that impact game development and player engagement.



Responsibilities:


  • A Games Data Analyst will work closely with development studios, game development teams, product managers and internal teams to validate learnings and optimize our games to improve upon a range of KPIs and metrics .You will take responsibility for analytics solutions including designing data pipelines, building dashboards and visualizations, and ad hoc analyses for mobile F2P titles across the Phoenix group of studios.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and/or must have worked on a live game.
  • Designing tracking for f2p games, measuring game performance and providing actionable insights back to the team.
  • Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau
  • Creating and reading dashboards in order to gain a better understanding of overall game performance



Your Skills:


  • Self-sufficient and ability to adopt a pragmatic mindset.
  • A solid quantitative background (mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc) is strongly preferred
  • Highly proficient in SQL and Python
  • Tableau and AWS experience is a plus
  • Extremely strong mathematical and computing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to eloquently deliver unbiased and actionable data insights.
  • Able to strike a healthy balance between scientific and creative ways of working.
  • Requirement gathering with stakeholders to understand their requirements and managing them along with the prioritization of various requirements coming in together.
  • Working knowledge of A/B experimentation and conclusion of experiments with supportive statistical techniques.
  • To convert actionable insights into well-defined projects.
  • To understand underlying player behavior.
  • To work with the Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to execute projects and measure their success.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to facilitate decision- making at various levels within the organization.
  • Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting various solutions and brainstorming sessions on solving various problems.
  • Implement data quality standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and reusability of data and solutions developed.
  • Participate actively in reusable design solutions and cost optimizations.
  • Ensure the right stakeholders get the right information at the right time.
  • Creating and deploying reports of the highest quality.
  • Design and plan BI solutions to automate regular reporting and reduce manual intervention.



Requirements:


  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science/IT
  • 3+ years of experience in Analytics and SQL.
  • Good understanding of statistics, probability, and segmentation techniques.
  • Exceptional logical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent technical as well as communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to even the smallest detail is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Amazon Athena
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e. g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience working with large datasets.
  • Deploying analytical solutions in Python is an added advantage .
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and products is preferable.
  • Critical think ,Reasoning and Cohort analysis .
