Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Lead to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of D365 SCM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Supply Chain processes, Dynamics 365 SCM modules, and ERP implementations.

The Functional Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and solution architects to ensure successful delivery of end-to-end D365 SCM implementations while aligning business requirements with system capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

  • Lead the functional design and implementation of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management solutions.
  • Conduct business requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
  • Provide functional expertise in SCM modules and supply chain best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDD).

D365 SCM Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end D365 SCM implementation, upgrades, and rollouts.
  • Configure and implement core SCM modules including:
  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement and Sourcing
  • Warehouse Management
  • Production Control
  • Master Planning
  • Transportation Management
  • Ensure best practices in system configuration and business process alignment.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business users, supply chain teams, and IT stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve supply chain operations.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor functional consultants and analysts.
  • Provide functional guidance to development teams for customization and integrations.
  • Review and approve solution designs and configurations.

Testing & Deployment

  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live activities.
  • Ensure successful data migration, cutover planning, and deployment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Support post-go-live optimization and system enhancements.


Required Skills

Dynamics 365 SCM Expertise

Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • Production Control
  • Master Planning / MRP
  • Supply Chain Process Optimization

ERP Implementation

  • Experience in multiple full-cycle ERP implementations
  • Strong knowledge of business process design and ERP best practices
  • Experience with data migration, integrations, and system configuration

Functional Consulting

  • Business requirement analysis
  • Functional solution design
  • Documentation (FDD, BRD)
  • Workshop facilitation

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to lead functional consulting teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain certification
  • Knowledge of data management
  • Experience in global ERP rollouts
