Job Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: Mumbai.

Experience: 8 to 12 years.

Role Summary

Were seeking a cybersecurity professional with strong project management experience who can lead cybersecurity programs end-to-end while actively contributing to technical activities. The ideal candidate has managed multi-stakeholder security initiatives and is comfortable with hands-on tasks in areas like security assessments, control implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Delivery Ownership: Plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects on time, within scope.
• Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and status reporting to leadership.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with IT, Security, Compliance, Risk, Business, and external vendors.
• Planning & Controls: Create project schedules, resource plans; track KPIs and
• Compliance Alignment: Ensure projects align with regulatory and audit requirements (e.g., RBI, CERT-In, DPDP).
• Change & Adoption: Drive communications, and operational handover; ensure documentation and runbooks are complete.

Cybersecurity Technicals (40%)

• Security Assessments: Participate in risk assessments, threat modeling, and gap analyses against frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
• Incident Readiness: Collaborate with SOC and IR teams for playbooks, tabletop exercises, and post-incident remediation tracking.
• Vulnerability Management: Work with teams to prioritize and track remediation (patching, configuration hardening, exceptions with compensating controls).
• Policy & Standards: Contribute to security policies, baseline standards, and secure architecture patterns; review architecture for security requirements.
• Documentation: Produce technical documentationHLD/LLD, reference architectures, test plans, SOPs/runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 8-12 years total experience with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity project/program management.
• Project Management: Strong command of PM methodologies (Agile/Scrum or Hybrid, plus Waterfall), project financials, and RAID management.
• Security Knowledge: Solid grounding in network security, identity & access management, endpoint security, SIEM/SOC, cloud security, and vulnerability management.
• Communication: Excellent stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and vendor management.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Regulatory Experience: Exposure to RBI cybersecurity directives, CERT-In incident reporting, PCI DSS, SOX.
• Sector Experience: BFSI, Telecom, Technology services.
