Public Sector BFSI Account Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead business development and relationship management in the Public Sector BFSI space. The ideal candidate will have prior engagement with institutions like SBI, UBI, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, or similar public sector BFSI organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities in public sector banks and insurance companies.
- Build and manage senior-level relationships (CXO/CIO/GM/DGM level) in public BFSI entities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure ensuring successful onboarding and account growth.
- Understand client needs and propose relevant solutions (e.g., core banking, digital banking, lending platforms, data analytics, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, product, delivery) to align solutions with client requirements.
- Ensure high-quality account servicing and post-sales engagement to enable cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Lead proposal creation, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations in line with public sector procurement norms.
Preferred Background:
- Prior experience in PSU banks or IT/Fintech sales to BFSI organizations (10-15 years).
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in public sector BFSI.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, IT solutions, or BFSI-focused technology platforms is an added advantage.
