Job Title: IAM Identity & Okta Engineer

Job Description:

The IAM Identity & Okta Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing identity and access management solutions within the organization. This role includes designing and optimizing workflows within Okta, ensuring seamless integration with various business applications, and maintaining security standards. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve identity governance and create effective user lifecycle management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and support Okta identity verification and provisioning processes.

- Configure single sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA) for various applications.

- Design and implement IAM solutions to enhance user experience while maintaining security.

- Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand identity-related requirements and provide solutions.

- Maintain documentation related to IAM processes, policies, and systems.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues.

- Stay up-to-date with IAM trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts and best practices.

- Proficiency in Okta and its integration with various platforms and applications.

- Understanding of SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management principles.

- Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Familiarity with directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP.

- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, for automation tasks.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Certifications in IAM technologies or related fields (preferred).
