Germany-Based Global Software Licensing Leader

A Germany-based global leader in software protection, licensing, and monetization is expanding in India and is seeking a high-impact Solutions Architect to join its founding technical team. With 5,000+ customers worldwide and a strong innovation roadmap, the company is establishing a dedicated Indian entity and building a technical capability that will support ISVs, OEMs, and device manufacturers across industrial automation, medical technology, automotive, engineering tools, and high-tech software markets.

This is a senior, hands-on role for candidates experienced in solution architecture, pre-sales consulting, POC execution, and technical delivery across modern software and embedded environments.

The Solutions Architect will own the complete technical lifecycle for customer engagementscovering discovery, architecture design, demos, POCs, implementation, integration, go-live, and customer success . You will collaborate with regional Sales Managers and the technical leadership team in Germany to deliver scalable licensing and protection solutions using the companys flagship platform.

Ideal candidates bring strong engineering depth, excellent consultative capability, and the ability to operate autonomously in a global, high-growth environment.

• Lead technical discovery with ISVs, OEMs, and enterprise engineering teams.
• Map customer architectures and design secure, scalable licensing and protection solutions.
• Recommend licensing models (perpetual, subscription, consumption, feature-based).
• Architect deployments across on-premise, cloud, embedded/ARM, and containerized environments .
• Build and deliver demos tailored to customer environments on Windows, Linux, embedded, and cloud .
• Define POC scope, success criteria, effort estimates, proposals, and ROI/TCO modeling.

• Lead implementation projects: installation, configuration, SDK/API integration.
• Integrate with .NET/C#, Java, Python, C/C++, embedded Linux, firmware .
• Troubleshoot complex multi-platform issues (Windows/Linux/embedded/virtualized).
• Manage upgrades, licensing model migrations, and deployment optimization.
• Deliver go-live support and ensure seamless adoption with proper documentation and handover.

• Train and certify partner engineering teams.
• Build enablement kits: sample code, reference architectures, integration guides.
• Co-develop industry-specific use cases for:
• Industrial Automation (Industry 4.0, PLC protection)
• Medical Technology (SaMD, device protection)
• Automotive (ISO 21434)
• Engineering/CAD/CAM tools
• Support channel partners in solution design and delivery readiness.
  

• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams in Germany.
• Capture India-specific needs, competitive intelligence, and integration patterns.
• Conduct webinars, workshops, and customer/partner education sessions.
• Create case studies, success stories, and technical assets that support market expansion.
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 712 years in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting , or Professional Services .
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on technical delivery experience.
• Strong programming capability in at least one major stack:
• .NET/C# , Java, or Python
• C/C++ , embedded Linux, firmware
• Experience integrating SDKs/APIs, working with authentication/authorization flows.
• Knowledge of software licensing fundamentals: node-locked, floating, subscription, usage-based.
• Advantageous experience in:
• Industrial Automation (IEC 62443)
• Medical Devices/SaMD
• Automotive (ISO 21434)
• CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes
  

• Strong consultative communication with ability to present complex topics clearly.
• Ability to engage developers, architects, IT teams, and business stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a bias for fast, practical solutions.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed model.
