Designation: Customer Service (Export)
Industry Experience: Freight Forwarding*
Experience: Min 5 Yrs
Act as a single point of Contact:-
Customer service personnel acts as a single point of contact for the clients.
They manage/negotiate pricing and co-ordinate for all shipments.
Understand customer requirements and escalate potential issues if any :-
CS understands the customer requirements to avoid any discrepancies
Always escalate potential issues and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with business guidelines and customer requirements.
Be proactive in order to minimize service crises.
Arrange shipment for the customers:-
Arrange shipments by examining destination, route, rate and delivery time.
Maintain, grow, and build long term relationships with Liners, Customers and Overseas agents.
Follow-up with customer for outstanding payments:-
Manage and update reports on weekly or monthly basis as required.
Co-ordinate with Sales, Operations and Documentation department and follow-up on shipments generated.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification
5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding Customer Service
Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of ERP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
