Summary:
As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather insights, analyzing user needs, and translating them into functional specifications. You will also engage in design discussions, ensuring that the applications align with business objectives while maintaining a focus on user experience and efficiency. Your role will require you to stay updated with industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of SAP EWM consultants in the delivery of support and enhancement projects.
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and SAP EWM solutions.
Drive the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP EWM solutions, including decentralized EWM setups.
Provide expert guidance on warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, internal movements, physical inventory, and labor management.
Oversee the development of custom enhancements and ensure the preparation of clear, comprehensive functional specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, and PP to support integrated end-to-end business processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution through effective problem-solving and coordination with technical teams.
Mentor junior team members, perform quality reviews of deliverables, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
Comfortable working in night shifts to support North American business hours..
Required Skills and Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM, including at least 1–2 years in a team lead or senior consultant role.
Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes in manufacturing or distribution environments.
Proven experience in decentralized EWM systems and integration with ECC or S/4HANA.
Good communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to write functional specifications and collaborate effectively with ABAP developers.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle pressure in critical situations.15 years full time education
