JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect (Junior / Early Career) to support foundational architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns within the Customer 360 (C360) program. This role focuses on extending Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities to enable unified customer profiles, segmentation, AI driven insights, and cross cloud activation across Sales and Marketing.
Working closely with Senior Architects and Data Engineering teams, this role will contribute to architecture deliverables, support data and integration patterns, and own defined components of the C360 design landscape. This role emphasizes learning, consistency, execution of established patterns, and high quality architectural documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Salesforce Data Cloud & C360 Architecture
Support the extension of enterprise Customer 360 architectures using Salesforce Data Cloud.
Assist in defining data ingestion, harmonization, and activation patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
Contribute to logical and physical data models enabling unified customer profiles.
Data Modeling & Identity Resolution
Support configuration of Data Cloud Data Model Objects (DMOs) and mappings from upstream source systems.
Participate in defining calculated insights, segmentation structures, and profile attributes.
Assist with identity resolution, matching strategies, and profile unification logic.
Integration & Activation Patterns
Support integration patterns between source systems, Data Cloud, and Salesforce clouds.
Assist in defining and documenting activation patterns enabling AI, analytics, and operational use cases.
Collaborate with ETL, data engineering, and integration teams to ensure upstream pipelines meet Data Cloud requirements.
Architecture Documentation & Standards
Produce and maintain architecture artifacts including data flow diagrams, C360 reference architectures, and data mapping documentation.
Ensure all deliverables align with Salesforce best practices and enterprise architectural guardrails.
Delivery & Collaboration
Participate in architecture and design reviews with senior architects.
Support solution walkthroughs for delivery teams and business stakeholders.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, planning activities, and troubleshooting of Data Cloud environments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Salesforce & Data Cloud Expertise
7–9 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Hands on exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud through at least one implementation or PoC.
Understanding of Customer 360 concepts including unified profiles and cross cloud personalization.
Data & Integration
Foundational knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and ingestion pipelines.
Understanding of identity resolution and harmonization.
Familiarity with Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud.
Soft Skills & Stakeholder Interaction
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
Ability to create clear diagrams and documentation.
Clear communication skills in distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (Admin, App Builder, Einstein AI & Data).
Exposure to Marketing Cloud, integration tools (ADF, MuleSoft).
Interest in data architecture and Salesforce AI capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Data Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, AI/Einstein/Agentforce certifications).
Experience with Customer 360, CRM transformation, AI-enabled commercial strategies, or commercial enablement programs.
Prior experience in consulting or large-scale enterprise delivery environments.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Bachelor s degree required.
Coursework in data modeling, cloud data platforms preferred.
