Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software components you develop are efficient and effective in addressing user requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Support the SAP Basis Administrator in all infrastructure-related activities within the hybrid SAP platform landscape (AWS / SAP BTP / Azure). - Manage and monitor the underlying infrastructure (EC2 instances, network connectivity, load balancers, storage, backups, OS patching). - Administer SAP technical components (application servers, HANA DB, gateway, RFCs, web dispatchers). - Ensure secure connectivity between SAP systems, SAP BTP, and Azure services (via Cloud Connector, Destinations, OAuth). - Coordinate infrastructure changes (system copies, client refreshes, landscape adjustments) with SAP Basis and cloud teams. - Maintain and optimize system performance through proactive monitoring (Solution Manager, CCMS, AWS CloudWatch). - Manage identity integration between SAP (BTP/IAG) and Azure Entra ID / B2C for authentication and single sign-on. - Support disaster recovery planning, backup/restore strategies, and environment cloning for QA/PreProd/Prod. - Participate in security and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to SAP and AWS operational standards. - Contribute to infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines for SAP deployments (Jenkins, GitHub, CTS+). Professional & Technical Skills: - SAP S/4HANA IS-U (Private Cloud on AWS) - SAP BTP (Integration Suite, IAG, Build Work Zone) - Azure Entra ID / Azure B2C (Identity & Access Management) - SAP HANA DB on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) - Integration with SAP Solution Manager & Cloud Connector Additional Information: - 3+ years experience in SAP Basis or Infrastructure Operations. - Familiar with hybrid SAP landscapes (on-prem + cloud). - Understanding of network and security principles (TLS, VPN, certificates). - Experience with AWS or Azure infrastructure services. - Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (SAP Basis, Cloud Ops, Security, Integration).15 years full time education
