Summary:
Looking for a Marketplace Architect to lead design & implementation of Marketplace. The role involves defining scalable architecture, leading the middleware strategy & integrations using Java SDKs and aligning integration flows across systems like ecommerce, ERP, PIM, OMS etc.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Overall Experience 10+ years
3+ years of experience in solution/technical architecture roles
At least one Markerplace implementation as an Architect with distributed / MACH architecture
Deep knowledge & understanding of System Design Architecture & patterns
String knowledge in REST APIs, Spring Boot, microservices & integration patterns
Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, and API security principles
Experience integrating with systems like ecommerce, PIM, DAM, ERP
Should have background in any eCommerce platform (SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce, etc.)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define Technical Architecture and Solution Outline for Marketplace implementation
Able to configure Seller account, onboarding, Taxonomy setup, Reconciliation and Marketplace API specifications.
Define & own integration pattern with Marketplace using building Integration Adaptors
Strong understanding of distributed / MACH architecture
Guide the team on best practices around APIs, microservices, middleware and system integration.
Collaborate with product & engineering teams to nurture business requirements and provide technical scalable solutions with documentations
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of Marketplace solution with governance
Provide technical oversight across the development lifecycle and review critical components.
Stay aligned with Marketplace platform changes and integration standards.
Leading Drop shipper/Seller platform onboarding and communications for end-to-end implementations
Create Roadmap to onboard new Sellers and identify optimization & tech-debts for Marketplace implementation.
Additional Information:
Marketplace platform knowledge & Certification
Knowledge in Cache, performance enhancements & domain services
Knowledge of other marketplace & ecommerce platforms
Understanding of Orchestration layer, Queue & other messaging systems
Experience in deployments, configure CI/CD pipeline & continuous improvements15 years full time education
