Position Overview

Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana seeks a skilled and innovative Curriculum Developer to translate organizational training and learning needs into structured, engaging, and effective educational programs.

The role involves designing curriculum frameworks, learning modules, training materials, and assessment tools for classroom and digital learning environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in instructional design, educational program structuring, and learning methodology frameworks .


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct learning needs assessments and collaboration with internal stakeholders to define curriculum goals and learning outcomes
  • Design and develop curriculum frameworks, instructional units, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with educational standards and best practices
  • Research learning theories, educational trends, and instructional design methodologies to inform curriculum development
  • Select, adapt, or create educational resources, digital tools, textbooks, and multimedia content to support learning objectives
  • Collaborate with educators, trainers, administrators, and subject matter experts to ensure curriculum relevance and inclusivity
  • Implement curriculum evaluation processes using formative and summative assessments, feedback mechanisms, and data analysis
  • Support capacity building by conducting training and orientation sessions for educators and trainers
  • Integrate educational technology and innovative learning tools into curriculum design
  • Maintain curriculum documentation, version control, and prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders


Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Design, or related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership roles
  • Knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, Blooms Taxonomy, and competency-based frameworks
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret learning data and apply insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Technical & Professional Skills

    • Proficiency in educational technology tools and learning platforms
    • Experience creating training manuals, digital modules, and assessment frameworks
    • Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
    • Creative problem-solving and adaptability to diverse learner needs

    • Familiarity with data protection and privacy regulations (desirable)
