Job Description
Enter the key responsibilities of the role:
- Ability to write apex code to implement business processes and resolve production issues using apex debugging when needed
- Build custom user components using LWC (Lightning Web Components) alongside the ability to work with legacy interfaces such as visual force and aura components
- Support the delivery of business sponsored CRM development projects with a good solid grasp of requirements gathering, solution design, coding, UAT and Production Support
- Ability to build and maintain integration between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, or middleware
- Proficiency in setting up flows, validation rules, objects, fields, reports, and dashboards
- Collaboration with collaborators to understand and detail business requirements.
- Secondary user level support (CRM Case management) – APAC hours
- Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and handling access
- Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support
- Implement and maintain end user training and knowledge article documentation
- Promote good data practice and champion data quality to the salesforce user base
- Work closely and proactively with the Salesforce Tech Lead, supporting the drive for CRM governance and standard methodology across the group
- Liaise closely with external parties including Salesforce and partner organizations to support improvements and issue resolution
- Appetite to further improve Salesforce development and upskill in skills such as Einstein and Einstein GPT
Enter the essential experience and skills required:
Required:
- Practical experience and understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionality and capabilities, ideally with experience of multiple applications and installed packages
- Some prior experience of salesforce development on the lightning platform including configuration, apex programming language, LWC and Javascript
- Basic understanding of SOQL and SOSL for querying data.
- Experience working with development tools such as visual studio code and DevOps(GitLab, Ansible, Kubernetes and Jira)
- Experience writing unit tests to acquire 100% code coverage
- Basic understanding of testing tool capability / frameworks
- Proficiency in debugging and tackle performance and security issues
- Experience in data migration tools such as Data Loader.
- Experience supporting Salesforce Experience sites and customer users in an enterprise environment
- Experience working on a Financial Services CRM implementation within a regulated business (nice to have)
- The candidate must be Salesforce Administrator certified and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certified
- Shown ability to optimally prioritise multiple concurrent tasks/projects that deliver value in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently but seeking authority and approval when appropriate
- Results focused with ability to work under stress when required
- Use of incident management platforms such as ServiceNow
- Experience of Snowflake
- Experience of Tableau
