The Payments domain group delivers the groups information technology functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through excellent Business vision, process excellence and technology innovation. We deliver robust and innovative business offerings aligned with latest Technology for our internal and external customers, essential tools for our people and innovative product platforms for our customers (including Netbank and CommSec) In Business Banking, we have a vision of becoming the leading business bank, powered by the next horizon of technology. Impact & Contribution:
Working as part of the Payments Senior Leadership team, you will be expected to provide the long running vision to build the futuristic Platform capabilities for all kinds of Payments processing, accountable for prioritizing, coordinating, and leading the execution of technical platform delivery and service management across the BB domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
A Crew Lead provides the overall leadership and direction for a Crew. They will ensure the outcomes and metrics of the Crew will deliver the best outcomes for our customers and shareholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Shaping the crew’s purpose in alignment with customer goals.
Collaborating with Product Owners and Squads to define composition, backlog, and goals.
Managing inbound dependencies from other business units or lines of business.
Overseeing platforms with groupwide impact and ensuring alignment with ELT OKRs.
Leading risk management efforts, especially where product impact affects BU/SU risk profiles
Run the business i.e. manage the end-to-end value chain from a performance, customer experience, operational risk, compliance, regulatory, cost and revenue perspective (i.e. P&L if applicable).
Accountable for driving overall application lifecycle decisions (build, scale, decommission, etc.), resilience and tech simplification.
Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
Collaborate with the Crew Tech Lead to understand key priorities and changes to technology infrastructure.
Coordinate with channels and functions e.g. Finance to ensure Crew products meet the stated functional and quality requirements
Essential Skills:
Senior leaders from a business or Technology background
Overall 20+ years of experience and at least 10 years of leadership (P&L management may be required depending on purpose of Crew), previously been a PO or Similar leadership role of a Product House
Outstanding delivery and running of large and complex programs
Desirable to have a working experience in banking domain and a good understanding and knowledge of Payments products and lifecycle.
Determine purpose, outcomes and metrics for the Crew and deliver against 3-year strategy, Annual Operating Plan and any Executive Leadership Team priorities
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering/ Business Administration/ Commerce/ CA
