Credit Officer

We are seeking a motivated Credit Officer with at least 1 year of professional experience in credit evaluation, loan processing, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Tamil and Telugu to ensure effective communication with diverse clients across regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by analyzing financial documents, credit history, and repayment capacity.
• Conduct customer interviews to gather necessary information and clearly explain loan terms.
• Verify applicant details through field visits, reference checks, and documentation review.
• Prepare credit appraisal reports and recommend loan approvals or rejections in line with company policies.
• Monitor loan accounts to ensure timely repayments and identify potential risks.
• Provide customer support in Tamil and Telugu to build trust and enhance client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with branch staff and management to achieve lending targets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in credit, lending, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of loan products, credit risk assessment, and compliance guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills in Tamil and Telugu; proficiency in English/Hindi will be an added advantage.
