Credit Manager

A New Age Financial Services Corporate specializing AIFs, PMS and Mutual Funds and serving retail , HNIs and Family Offices is Hiring for Credit Manager - LAS

Role Objective

The Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and corporate entities applying for Loans Against Securities. You will manage the end-to-end credit underwriting process, ensuring that the collateral (shares, mutual funds, bonds) meets the companys risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Underwriting: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence of loan applications for LAS, ESOP financing, and IPO financing.

Collateral Evaluation: Analyze the quality, liquidity, and volatility of the security basket (Equity, Debt, Mutual Funds).

Risk Assessment: Evaluate borrower profiles, including debt-to-income ratios, credit history (CIBIL), and repayment capacity.

LTV Management: Determine and monitor Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios and set appropriate margins based on scrip concentration and market trends.

Market Monitoring: Keep a pulse on equity markets and macroeconomic factors that could impact collateral value or borrower stability.

Policy Compliance: Ensure all approvals adhere to the NBFCs credit policy and RBI mandates.

Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure a seamless turnaround time (TAT) without compromising credit quality.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Education: CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA.

Experience: Proven experience in Credit Risk or Underwriting, specifically in LAS or Capital Market products within an NBFC or Bank.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with RBI guidelines regarding lending against financial assets.
