Job Title Manager Credit
Job Profile
The Manager Credit & Monitoring is responsible in providing support in implementing the credit strategy, manage credit risk assessment and forecasting and analyze financial data, project feasibility studies and market trends to mitigate credit risks effectively
Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities
The key job duties/responsibilities are enumerated below:
Perform thorough financial analysis of the entities, including analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and key performance indicators
Develop and implement credit policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure prudent lending practices and compliance with regulatory requirement
Reviewing agenda notes for loan sanction with respect to its completeness, meeting the regulatory guidelines and policies requirement.
Assist in post sanction work like issuance of sanction letter, amendments in terms and conditions (till initial disbursement) if applicable, Appointment of third parties like LIE/ LFA if applicable.
Assist in credit approval process ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Providing support in continuous monitoring of Standard accounts as well as EWS accounts in order to keep the slippage at minimal.
Identifying and monitor project performance metrics and financial data to gauge project profitability, identify areas of improvement and make data driven decisions
Providing data pertaining to project performance and monitoring metrics to key stakeholders and addressing any concerns or inquiries
Identifying areas of risk/concern in the project, develop risk mitigation strategies in adherence to regulations
Assisting in managing aspects of project finance operations including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Examining borrowers request for modification of Terms and Conditions
Providing project related input to legal team while filing various petitions on PFSs behalf.
Providing information for compilation of various MIS (NPA, EWS, Fraud, Written off accounts, Security non-compliance, modification etc) to Board / Board Committees / MD & CEO as applicable.
Assist in implementing strategies to mitigate credit risks and improve portfolio quality
Prepare reports on credit portfolio performance and key metrics for presentation to the EVP Credit and ED Credit
Ensuring KYC Compliances
Ensuring compliance to Regulatory requirement on appraisal aspect like KYC, group exposure, date protection etc.
Ensuring the statutory and regulatory compliances and compliance of policies & SOPs of PFS related to the respective functions being handled.
Ensuring the compliances on the decisions taken by Board Committees & Board time to time related to the functions being handled.
Educational Qualifications
Candidate should be preferably a post-Graduate with degree in Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Finance or a CA/CFA with a graduate degree
The candidate should have in-depth understanding of the various infrastructure sectors including the Govt. policy framework, the key issues plaguing the sector, the key players in the sector, their position in the industry, etc.
Should have working knowledge of enterprise risks (Credit risk, Market risk, Operational risk / fraud risk, Climate risk) in the Corporate & Institutional Banking portfolio.
Strong numeracy, analytical and research skills
Proficiency in MS excel, MS PowerPoint and other analytical tools
Should have ability to work in cross functional teams, should be highly committed and able to communicate clearly. Should have good oral and written communication skills
Experience in developing top grade credit underwriting and risk assessment skills and best performing credit analyst teams.
