Credit Manager SME Unsecured Business Loans

About the Role

The SME Credit role offers exposure to how the SME digital lending business operates, while also opening up broader career opportunities across the InCred Group. You will gain in-depth knowledge across multiple industries such as E-commerce, Restaurants, SaaS, and other emerging digital segments. The role involves portfolio due diligence, risk management, and credit underwriting for one of InCreds most dynamic lending businesses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit underwriting for the Digital Lending business, including an understanding of different business models through personal discussions with founders and business owners.
• Monitor portfolio delinquency trends using various metrics, analytics, and risk models.
• Develop recommendations for credit policy adjustments based on portfolio performance insights.
• Ensure portfolio IRR targets are met through risk-based pricing models and effective control on delinquencies.
• Support in overall portfolio due diligence and ongoing risk management for the SME Unsecured Business Loan segment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in SME credit underwriting, digital lending, unsecured business loans, or related credit functions.
• Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related fields (preferred)
• Strong analytical, financial assessment, and risk evaluation skills.
• Ability to understand varied business models and conduct detailed discussions with promoters/founders.
