About the Role

Were looking for someone who can bring the real struggle, pride, and purpose of Originally Desi to life through hooks that stop scrolls, scripts that feel honest, and stories that travel across the globe without losing their soul.

You understand why ads work, not just how they look.

You obsess over the first 3 seconds, test relentlessly, and know how to turn insights into winning creatives.

What Youll Do (Your Real Job)

Ads First. Always.

Turn real stories into powerful ad hooks & scripts

Bring out the human truth behind our products(farmers, founders, families)

Create ads that feel raw, rooted, and real (not loud, not fake)

Work closely with founders to document and amplify the brands journey

Help take a true Indian brand to a global audience authentically

Creative Strategy & Performance Thinking

• Study winning ads, competitors, and global D2C brands daily.
• Work closely with performance marketing to scale what works.
• Analyze ad performance and iterate creatives accordingly.
• Build a strong creative testing pipeline (angles, hooks, formats).

Content (Secondary but Important)

• Guide brand content so it aligns with ad storytelling.
• Help shape messaging across reels, captions, emailers, and landing pages.
• Ensure brand voice stays authentic, rooted, and premium.

Youre the Perfect Fit If You

Have 2-5 years of experience in ads, copywriting, creative strategy, or performance content.

Can write hooks that stop scrolls and scripts that convert.

Understand D2C ads, UGC formats, and founder-led storytelling deeply.

Think in angles, frameworks, and psychology, not just words.

Can balance creativity with performance metrics.

Bonus: Youve worked with FMCG, D2C, or consumer brands.
