Our content team is building a brand anchored in curiosity, expertise, and genuine student success and we need a Scriptwriter who can bring that to life across video and social.


This is not a copy-editing role. You'll be in the engine room of our content writing scripts that get filmed, captions that get saved, and carousels that get shared. You'll work closely with our Market Head and Lead Content Strategist to translate strategy into words that actually perform.


What You'll Do:


Video & Reel Scripts

Write punchy, hook-first scripts for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts (1590 sec)

Write structured long-form scripts for YouTube videos with clear narrative arcs

Collaborate with the guests and creators to tailor scripts to their on-camera delivery style

Iterate quickly based on performance data and creative feedback.


Instagram Content

Write captions for feed posts, reels, and carousels concise, voice-consistent, and engagement-driven

Script carousel post frameworks (hook slide content CTA)

Develop post copy that reflects our brand pillars: curiosity, expertise, and student success.


Brand Voice & Collaboration

Maintain a consistent tone across all content formats educational but never dry, aspirational but never generic

Contribute ideas in content planning sessions

Review drafts for brand voice consistency when needed


What we are looking for:


Must-Have

2+ years of content writing experience across any setting agency, in-house, freelance, or

independent creator; what matters is the quality and range of your portfolio

Demonstrated range you can write a 15-sec hook and a 10-min YouTube script with equal

confidence

Strong instinct for hooks, storytelling structure, and what makes people stop scrolling

Fluency in Instagram content norms what formats work, what captions perform, what CTAs

convert

Comfortable working at speed daily output in a fast-moving team


Nice-to-Have

Background in education, journalism, or student-facing content

Familiarity with college admissions, study abroad, or international higher education

Basic understanding of SEO for YouTube titles and descriptions


Education

Bachelors degree (BA/BFA/BSc) in a creative or communications discipline Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, Film Studies, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field

Candidates without a formal degree in these fields must demonstrate equivalent creative training a strong, diverse portfolio will be considered

International academic exposure(Preferred). A degree from a top-ranked university in the US, UK, or other leading global destination (Canada, Australia, Europe, Singapore) particularly valued if the programme had a strong creative, communications, or liberal arts focus.
