Counselor

Position Overview:

The Admissions Counsellor plays a key role in supporting prospective students and parents through the admission journey. The position focuses on providing accurate guidance, ensuring smooth coordination of admission processes, and maintaining a positive and welcoming experience for all applicants while following institutional policies and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide prospective students and parents by explaining admission procedures, available courses, eligibility criteria, and required documentation through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.

Provide continuous support to families during the admission process by addressing queries and ensuring timely completion of application formalities.

Review student applications to verify academic qualifications and ensure compliance with admission guidelines.

Maintain accurate admission records, student data, and documentation in an organized and confidential manner.

Prepare and share regular updates and reports related to admission activities with the Centre Head/Management when required.

Build strong communication with students, parents, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure smooth coordination and resolution of concerns.

Contribute to creating a positive, student-friendly environment that reflects the values and culture of the institution.

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably in JEE/NEET

domain.

* Strong communication and persuasion skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.

* Ability to handle student queries effectively and empathetically.

* Familiarity with online education tools/platforms.
