We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about cost engineering and have a deep understanding of automotive subsystems and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Should Costing Analysis for vehicle subsystems across major commodities:
- Plastics, Sheet Metal, Castings, Forgings, and Machining
- Work extensively with Excel-based cost models
- Prepare Cost Reports, matrices, and summaries for internal and customer presentations
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Should Costing within the automotive domain
- Strong expertise in costing for:
- Plastics | Sheet Metal | Castings | Forgings | Machining
- Proficiency in Tonnage Calculations, Cycle Time Calculations, Welding Calculations, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes and derive accurate cost estimations
