Sweco India is hiring a "Project Controller" specialized in Cost estimation-Rail Infra project for our Gurugram/Bangalore office.

Responsibilities:

Early stage estimation: Work on estimating materials from investigation and planning phases using reference values, also involves creating estimate summaries and proposals based on estimation structure and reference values.
Late stage estimation: Work on detailed estimation of materials in the construction planning stage built on AMA codes, involves creating detailed cost estimates based on quantity lists.
Performing quantity and volume calculations: Skill in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Ability to extract quantities and volumes.
Structuring and managing quantity data in Excel: Excel skills - building/structuring and formulas. Adapting formulas and graphs for different estimates.
Performing post-estimations and creating reference values: Enabling estimate follow-up through structured post-estimations with reference values based on completed projects.

Qualifications:

B.Tech / MBA / PGDM in Project Management / Construction Management.
At least 5 years' experience in construction projects, preferably related to railway projects.
Experience in project planning, risk management, construction, geotechnics or practical experience in leading the production of railway constructions or other heavy infrastructure.
Experience in estimating materials from early stages, such as investigation phases with reference values, to detailed plans built on AMA codes.
Experience in detailed estimation of materials in the construction planning stage built on AMA codes, involves creating detailed cost estimates based on quantity lists.
Experience in CAD, Bluebeam, MAP, BidCon, Excel.
Experience in quantity calculations, structuring and managing quantity and performing post estimation.
Candidates with similar experience in any Design & Engineering or Project Management Consulting Organizations are preferred.
