Job Title: Estimation Engineer Ship Repair

Reporting To: Estimation Manager (Dubai)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer capable of preparing accurate and competitive quotations based on specifications received from shipping companies. The role involves cost estimation, tender preparation, and coordination with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and precise proposal submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents based on client specifications and technical requirements.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Coordinate with the Estimation Manager and project teams to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to gather cost inputs for materials, equipment, and services.
• Review and update estimation data to reflect changes in scope or project requirements.
• Ensure all estimations comply with company standards and client expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or related functions within the shipbuilding or marine industry.
• Prior experience in Cochin Shipyard or similar ship repair companies is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools.

Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
