Cost Audit trainee

Role:

To assist in the conduct of cost audit, assignments involving preparation of cost records as well as setting up costing systems.

Responsibilities

To ably support the Partner as well as Audit manager in the conduct of Cost Audit.

To ensure proper documentation of all audit related matters.

To coordinate with clients for the smooth conduct of cost audit as well as other assignments.

To ensure adherence to the policies and procedures established by the firm.

To ensure adherence to the ethical standards issued by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, or a related field
• CMA Intermediate completed .
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively interpret and evaluate financial as well as cost data
• Good verbal and written communication skills for internal and external professional correspondence
• Knowledge of finance and cost concepts.
• Understanding of auditing principles
• working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
• Prior internship or academic experience with financial audits or cost accounting is an advantage but not a must.
