Job Description

Job Objective

Drive the learning and development initiatives for corporate office and hotel operations including implementing and evaluating training programs that align with the strategic objectives and enhance employee performance.



Area(s) of Responsibilities

Program Development & Execution

  • Overseeing the implementation, and monitoring of learning programs aimed at enhancing employee capabilities and performance.


Online Learning

  • Creating learning paths, coordinating with hotels for assigning, tracking and completion of the assigned learning paths on all on line learning platforms


Employee Onboarding

  • Support onboarding of new colleagues in the L&D function at hotels-Develop & design content for Employee induction and onboarding at hotels


Collaboration with SMEs

  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and external vendors to develop customized learning solutions
  • Support AVP L&D in the delivery of talent development initiatives across the organization, including leadership development, skill-building, and career progression frameworks.


Evaluation & Feedback

  • Measure & Evaluate Effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements based on participant feedback and learning outcomes


Learning Manage ment System

  • Manage LMS ensuring that it supports the learning needs of the organisation-Update LMS with relevant & engageing content
  • Maintain and provide MIS /Reports


Essential Job Tasks

Drive the learning and development initiatives for Corporate office and Hotels

Assist in conducting needs assessment to identify training requirements across the organization This is to ensure that at the learning programs offered are aligned with business goals as well as employee development needs

Manage the Online learning portal in a manner to ensure maximum use of the same. This will include driving of assigned learning paths through weekly updates to concerned stakeholders, promotion & execution of engagement activities, etc

Maintain MIS of all corporate programs (LMS updates), Minutes of Review Meetings, Creating dashboards as required

Assist in the coordination of Corporate programs as required

Assist in Cadre Programs: SEDP and MMT (Scheduling monthly engagements, blocking calendars, session posters, organizing catch-up calls, monitoring & review of appraisals and Learning

notes, etc)

Assist in New ERP implementation & maintenance post-implementation

Develop content including training presentations, assessments, quizzes, etc

Assist in onboarding of new L&D colleagues


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management /Human Resources/Business Administration


Work Experience

10+ years of experience in leading Learning & Development for hotel clusters

Good communication & interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using LMS, MS Office and other relevant technologies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good planning, project management & time management skills.
