Job Description

IHCL is looking for a strategic and dynamic talent to elevate beauty operations across our iconic portfolio of J Wellness Spa and Niu&Nau.


About the Role

The Corporate Director Beauty Operations leads the endtoend operations of Niu&Nau salons across multiple locations. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence to enhance service quality, drive innovation, and strengthen financial performance.

Key Responsibilities


Operational Leadership

  • Lead salon operations across all Niu&Nau locations with strong adherence to brand standards.
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day functioning, resource planning, staffing, and inventory efficiency.

Business Performance & Profitability

  • Review salon P&Ls, monitor revenue streams, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement pricing, promotions, and cost-optimization strategies to boost topline and profitability.

Experience & Innovation

  • Introduce new beauty services aligned with global trends and evolving guest expectations.
  • Partner with product brands and internal teams to curate differentiated, premium offerings.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct regular audits on hygiene, safety, and service standards.
  • Drive improvement roadmaps to elevate overall guest experience.

People Leadership

  • Coach and mentor salon managers and unit teams for high performance.
  • Identify training needs and work with L&D to build technical and service capability.

Guest Engagement & Brand Positioning

  • Ensure consistent delivery of Niu&Naus brand promise across all touchpoints.
  • Use guest insights and feedback to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.


Key Interfaces


Internal: Salon Managers, Operations Teams, Finance, HR & L&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT

External: Product partners, training institutes, auditors, industry bodies, guest feedback agencies, thirdparty vendors


Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline; certification in body & beauty therapies mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and skincare
  • Postgraduate in Physical Education (preferred)
  • 58 years of experience in spa/salon operations or training
  • Experience managing multi-location teams and structured training programs
  • Fluency in English; Hindi preferred

Functional:

  • Deep expertise in salon operations, beauty services, and industry standards
  • Strong understanding of P&L, revenue drivers, and cost structures
  • Proficiency in quality audits, hygiene protocols, inventory systems
  • Experience with POS/salon management software and MS Office/MIS
  • Ability to spot trends and innovate service menus


Additional Attributes

  • Hospitality sector experience is an advantage
  • Age 30+ preferred
  • High physical fitness, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Interest in wellness or yoga is a plus
