Corporate Communications Intern

About the Role

The intern will work closely with the group communication & brand team, supporting content creation, website content support, social media content ideas support, and coordination with internal and external communication team. This is a learning-first role designed to provide hands-on exposure to corporate brand communication, large-scale campaigns, and real-time digital communication in a dynamic corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in content ideation, copywriting, and planning for website, social media platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X) and internal platforms
• Coordinate with web, digital, and digital agency partners on business-as-usual activities
• Assist with content coordination across teams to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Be an active part of planning and execution team for the groups communication conclave and other topical on ground events
• Conduct research on social media trends
• Support design team with briefs and create basic creatives using Canva
• Assist in creating presentations and documents for strategy and planning

Qualifications

• Preferred background: Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, English literature, liberal arts
• Candidates from other disciplines with strong interest and aptitude for communication roles are welcome to apply

Required Skills

• Strong written communication skills and clarity of expression
• Good understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends
• Basic working knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Office Apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong research and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to explore multiple communication approaches
