Role Description

• Corporate Banking is a technology centric business of Deutsche Bank, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data.  This means that technology is more important than ever for the business.  
• We are building Client Analytics & Strategy MIS platform for Corporate Bank Business.  The tools and reports of the platform help users across different domains of CB to better manage and grow the business.
• The main challenge of our work is to keep the data accurate and make it available for business on T+1 basis. We source the data from various financial and analytical systems in different ways (Rest, Spark Jobs, sftp, messaging) and transform it in a way that business can access it via Tableau Dashboards and Reports.  We expect the successful candidate to become familiar with most of our stack and actively contribute to data feeds and platform design during his or her work. The stack consists of Oracle databases surrounded by various Python ETL’s in Conda environment for data processing.
• Part of our architecture also rolled out on GCP where we use DataFlow, BigQuery, Composer etc.

We are looking for BI Engineer with relevant experience to join our Payment Analytics squad which mostly relay on GCP environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Full life-cycle of development tasks, starting from specification and design to successful implementation
• Working in the global team following Agile development practices
• Data Warehouse development and ETL design in GCP and Oracle environments
• Assistant in requirements gathering and data analytics as needed
• Estimate work effort and assist the Project Manager with task planning and LOE (level of effort) estimates
• Contribute to data visualization and performance of Reporting tools

Your skills and experience

• Deep understanding and exceptional experience on designing and developing high performed Tableau dashboards on top of Big Data (hundred millions of rows)
• Solid knowledge of different Tableau products including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep (Experience with Tableau+ ands Al is a big plus but not mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of SQL is mandatory including queries optimization
• Knowledge of Python and Pipelines development
• Cloud experience primary GCP including knowledge of GCP solutions like BigQuery, CloudSQL, Composer, DataFlow is a big plus
• Working Experience with Tableau on top of Trino is a big plus
• Experience with Looker is a plus
