Job Description

Responsibilities

- Carry out review of prevailing key internal controls and documentation in order to assess adequacy in the design of internal controls in acquired entities - review fraud risk factors and identify fraud scenarios and to test controls in place to mitigate fraud; - Evaluation of effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls in business functions in acquired entities and suggest appropriate controls - Coordinate the gap assessments working with SMEs - Handle various stakeholders to drive sustainable compliance and closure of gaps. - Developing and implementing strategies to realize the maximum value from each acquisition. - Simplify and standardize operational processes, controls and procedures where relevant. - As part of the implementation, partner with SMEs to facilitate detailed business requirements for requested changes related to financial processes and translate them into functional specifications system implementation - Facilitate requirement gathering interviews, conduct workshops, issue clarifications, review documentation, ensure traceability, sign off by all stakeholders and own the change management to define the program requirements - Engage with program stakeholders (internal and external) to build strong relationship and be the SPOC for all program related aspects - Proactively identify the interdependencies among teams and drives convergence across teams to deliver organizational goals - Build repository of team`s collective knowledge, Seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects IN ORDER TO drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and preserve organization knowledge - Provide proactive solutions for complex situations and liaison with program stakeholders to execute the program successfully - Monitor, review, and control project phases and track the deliverables - Provide periodic update to the leadership on the program and highlight the issues / risks proactively
