As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling, high-quality content while driving innovative strategies to elevate brand storytelling for clients as well as new business pitches. Your role involves conceptualizing ideas, producing impactful copy and overseeing quality, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines. You will play a key role in delivering impactful content that resonates across digital platforms for existing and potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality, original, and creative written content that aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and style guidelines
- Collaborate closely with the digital and creative teams, account managers, and other stakeholders to understand client objectives, target audience insights, and brief requirements
- Crafting engaging copies for social media monthly content calendars and ongoing pitches
- Contributing to new business by elevating creative concepts for pitches
- Review and revise copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in digital marketing and copywriting
- Engage with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, develop integrated campaigns and solve creative challenges
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience of 5+ years in copywriting, preferably in a digital agency or similar environment
- A flair for language and a knack for producing new, original ideas
- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting samples and an understanding of various content styles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media trends.
- Proficiency in time management while simultaneously handling multiple brands
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to develop constructive relationships with internal stakeholders
