About the Function

MakeMyTrip’s social team is responsible for managing an organization’s presence, engagement, and performance on social media platforms. They play a critical role in building brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving business goals through online channels.

About the Role

Social media is key for growing brand buzz, recall and awareness. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for bringing to life ideas that engage the target audience across multiple social media platforms. You must have an eye on daily trends and a penchant for cracking clutter breaking creatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for seamless coordination with team members and stakeholders, and also the skillset to understand precious customer insight and convert them into roaring ideas is paramount. 

What will you be doing

• Generate concept and copy for social creatives/reels/videos for increasing engagement and followers. 
• Create content streategy for daily social calendars in tune with business agendas and moment marketing for both fixed and fluid moments to keep brand buzz and recall high.
• Ensure 100% consistency in content (style, format, font) and images.
• Mapping customer insights to come up with relevant campaign thoughts for social buzz.

Key Success Factors for the role

• Demonstrate creative and copywriting skills on-brand.
• Have a very strong command of written and spoken English
• A versatile writer who can write short copy and long copy with equal perfection
• Work with cross-functional teams including Design, Product, Supply, Category, to create ideas in synch with business agendas and overall brand goals. 
• Collaborate with external stakeholders/agencies as and when required, to get work done in a defined and structured way. 

Qualification & Experience

• Graduation/Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field with excellent communication skills

• 12-15 years of working with a reputed ad agency, preferably handling young, digital brands
