Controls Engineer

You’ll be our: Controls Engineer

You’ll be based at:  Aurangabad, Vehicle factory

You’ll be Aligned with: ME Assembly - Team Lead

You’ll be a member of: Manufacturing Engineering- Assembly

What you’ll do at Ather:

• Responsible for the Electrical section of all the SPM related RFQ that are prepared for Ather. 

• Responsible for Electrical DAP in all of the SPM’s that are developed for Ather.

• Take part in the EFMEA and brainstorm on prevention control methods like sensors that can be added.

• Standardize the electrical BOM that will be used on the SPM’s to optimize spares and maintenance downtime.

• Responsible for Implementing best programming practices in the Machines designed for Ather

• Responsible for designing Ather specific functional blocks if required for simplification of programming and troubleshooting

• Implementing an IIoT enabled architecture on all the machines.

• Developing a standard for the HMI lay outing and ensuring it gets incorporated into the machines.

• Developing SCADA tools that help capture machine OEE.

• Developing standard Data structure for process data in accordance to the requirement from MES.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Experience in working with different manufacturing processes and related automation.

• Experience working on designing electrical panels and wiring diagrams.

• Experience in Industrial Automation project execution with in-depth design and process knowledge.

• In-depth Knowledge on PLC & controls system architecture.

• Positive thinking, team working, exploring the possibilities, Adopting practical approaches , embracing the change are main attributes required for the Controls Engineer.

What You bring to Ather:

• BE Mechatronics / Instrumentation & Control / Electrical & Electronics

• 6+ yrs in Manufacturing Environment / SPM building
