Job Title :- Control Manager- Data Security

Location : - Bangalore

Cyber Security is accountable for defending the CBA Group against a broad range of cyber threats.

Cyber Data security sits in the Cyber Information Risk Officer Team within Group Security, and sets the strategy, governs, and operates many of our controls that directly contribute to data security.

Impact & contribution :-

Your new role works together with a team of talented security personnel who are dedicated to information security activities across the Bank and its group entities globally.

You will:

• Provide visibility into the relative and absolute cyber security posture of our data security controls.
• Help define and then ensure that appropriate plans are prioritised and implemented to ensure data security technologies continue to evolve in regards to the emerging threat environment and industry best practice.
• Help define control governance in adherence to the Group’s compliance requirements
• Help the Businesses to achieve their goals, while maintaining good cyber security posture.

Support in ensuring the control’s effectiveness in relation to its Operational and Design Effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

• You will be responsible in defining the purpose, outcome, measurement, and plans for the Groups’ data security controls, and ensure that we are always continually improving these controls to make the Group cyber safe.
• You will contribute towards metric formulation, measurement, and thoughtful but concise dialogue on continuously evolving our cyber data security to meet the threat landscape.
• You will work across the seams with parallel and overlapping functions to ensure our data security continues to improve. You will adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behavior, actions and decisions we expect from our people

Essential Skills:

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of industry experience
• Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
• Focus on People – You will succeed by coaching and growing both subject matter experts and other leaders: cyber is everyone’s responsibility, and education is the key.

• knowledge of cyber secure data security practices
• You will be looking to build relationships, and at the same time, build a reputation for diligence, leadership, and at-scale problem solving

Education Qualification :-

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
